Born: 3/6/1928 Died: 11/11/1996 As a Blue Grass Boy: Don Stover played banjo with Bill Monroe for about six months in 1957, recording eleven tracks with him including a remake of "Molly and Tenbrooks". Recording Sessions: 4/20/1957, 5/14/1957, 5/15/1957 Before and After: Don is well known for his long association with the Lilly Brothers. He was also a songwriter; his "Things in Life" has become something of a standard. Honors: SPBGMA Preservation Hall of Greats (1993); IBMA Hall of Honor (2002)
